Life's Calling
John L Kaat found his life's calling of running heavy equipment in 1984, when he helped his dad, Richard and Uncles, excavating building sites with an Isaacson Tracdozer, and an International backhoe.

In 1987, John purchased a Chevy plow truck and started a snow removal business that, in the 90’s, grew to include both residential and commercial accounts.

Primrose Acres was Founded
In 1995 with the love of his life, Joletta, Primrose Acres was founded. They acquired a 1967 Dodge 800 tandem dump truck, 10-ton tag trailer, and a 1987 Case tractor backhoe. The rest is His story. More than 2 decades later, our family business strives to provide quality and timely customer service.
